Never. I've put forward quite a bit of money towards my Guild Wars account. (CE Factions & NF, tons of character slots, Proph special edition etc...)
Not to mention I've already had £30 stolen off me by my so-called "Friends".

My gf of 3 years knows every login detail to everything I've ever been on or owned. Why would it be any different? If you love somebody you trust them completely. I'd expect my gf to be extremely angry if I didn't trust her with just a stupid game password and had to put -pwd into the shortcut so she couldn't know what it was.
She'd be fully justified in wondering if GW was more important than her if I did that -pwd thing. Hell, I'd say that for everybody - especially if you're married. Surely you have joint bank accounts, and GW after all is JUST a game.
Obviously nobody should give their details to people willy-nilly - be careful who you share it with. Only people you really do trust completely. But really, if you can't trust those close people in your life - and expect that they may one day turn around and take all your stuff or wipe your account or whatever - then get new friends.

My partner has mine and I have his. It's just for convenience and we'd only have to use them on vary rare occasions. Last time I logged into his account was when the ceratadons came out; I got him one as a surprise and then left his computer on with the dinosaur walking around his war's feet so it was the first thing he saw when he came home. Awww, I'm nice.
I guess we'll put it in the pre-nup; "thou shalt not maliciously delete each others ectos, nor leave each others hawt female eles afk so that they can be humped by passing wammos, for these will be grounds for divorce and custody of the pixellated characters in question".

I have not, but I've had 2 people give me their account information. Both are online friends I've been in contact with for years now, so it doesn't really matter.

I post my social security number and GW info on the interwebs. I mean, its just a series of tubes, no harm can come of it.
Real answer is....one of my friend's knows my stuff and I have access to preety much everything he does in any online game.

No, I am very protective of my accounts.
If it is someone I know in person and see often, I MIGHT let them on my secondary account, just to try it.
I would NEVER give my login info to anyone online, friend or not. As nice as people may seem, it is impossible to tell what their real motives are. I would rather not put my trust into someone, only to find out that my account has been compromised a few days later.
Friends have offered to give me their account info, "in case I ever need anything", which I declined, saying "but thanks anyway ".

I've given access to one of my accounts to a (very good) friend and co-worker who wanted to try the game.
It wasn't my main account, it was one that I'd stopped using many months previously, it had nothing on it, and was not linked to the same NCSoft account as my main account. I changed the password once he'd finished with it.
I have also been given the details to another friend's account, to log on as him and get a Wintersday hat whilst he on holiday.
I've never shared details of my main account with anyone.

No way, my brother begs me for a character slot, but I have absolutely no trust in him with that lol.
I see no reason to give my anyone my account info though.
